Part 5: Intro: Action Please: Napoleon Hill And W. Clement Stone’s Success Through A Positive Mental Attitude Book Chapter Summary.

Stone and Hill tell us right off the bat; we alone can remove our limitations by employing the principles in this book. Of course, the authors make it clear that none of their recommended principles will work without the most important ingredient, “A Positive Mental Attitude!”

the limitations Hill and Stone Speak of in their original work, “Success Through A Positive Mental Attitude,” are…

  • Failing to change a Negative Mental Attitude to a Positive Mental Attitude.
  • Not learning how to use the powers that exist within your own mind.
  • Not bothering to take the time to think, study, and plan, or even bother to set goals.
  • Failure to act upon something that you know how to do.
  • Neglecting to recognize, and bring into play, any universal principles that could help you to achieve your desired goals.
  • Setting up barriers in your own mind; believing them to be insurmountable, with the operative phrase here being, “In Your Own Mind!”

The authors use the term, “Negligence,” to describe the above listed actions. But Hill and Stone do offer us some light at the end of the tunnel. They do this by explaining that negligence is one of the easiest things to neutralize, should one be willing to want to do it.

“Ok!” Now that we’ve got that out of the way; let’s move along to the summarization of Chapter 20, “Shall we?”
